How to play

Hold, then let go

The whole screen is the button. Roo climbs a tall level one hook at a time.

1Hold anywhere

Hold to grab the lit hook. Roo swings round it on his rope.

2Let go to fly

Let go at the right moment and Roo flies up to the next hook.

3Reach the top

Cross the finish line at the top of the level to clear it.

Missed the moment? Hold on and it comes round again on the next swing. Walls bounce Roo back and never end a try.

The climb

Ten levels to learn. Then it gets hard.

New hooks and hazards arrive as you climb. Every one of the 200 levels has a proven route to the top.

  1. Levels 1 to 10

    A net under you

    Fall and the net bounces you back up while you learn.

  2. Level 6

    Launch pads

    Some hooks are out of reach. Bounce off the pad to get there. Boing!

  3. Level 8

    Spike balls

    They sit where a bad release goes, never on a hook.

  4. Level 11

    The net is gone

    Fall past the red haze and the try ends. One tap starts it again.

  5. Level 12

    Moving hooks

    Teal hooks slide from side to side, so the right moment moves too.

  6. Level 16

    Cracked hooks

    Amber hooks snap about a second after you grab them. Snap!

  7. Level 21

    Wind

    A marked band pushes Roo sideways while he flies and swings.

  8. Level 26

    Tight gaps

    Two spike bars with one gap between them. Fly through the gap.

  9. Level 51

    Circling hooks

    Some hooks ride a circle, and some spike balls slide.

Summits

Every tenth level is a summit, with its prize named before you start. Five of them give a look you can't buy.
