Cupshot — Data Deletion
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Cupshot has no account, so there is no account to delete. There is no sign-in, and we keep nothing on a server of ours that is tied to you. This page explains how to delete what the game saves on your phone, and what Google and RevenueCat hold.
What is on your phone
Your holes, stars, coins, balls and trails, honours, the caddie's notes, your club card, Daily Course and Par Streak scores, and settings are saved only on your phone.
- Delete the game to delete all of it.
- Or, to keep the game and start again, open Settings → Reset all progress. The Comet ball from a Starter Pack you bought stays.
Either way it cannot be undone, and we cannot recover it, because we never had a copy.
What Google and RevenueCat hold
| What | Held by | Filed under | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gameplay analytics | Google (Firebase Analytics) | A random app-instance ID | Up to 14 months, then deleted automatically |
| Crash reports | Google (Firebase Crashlytics) | A random Crashlytics installation ID | Up to 90 days, then deleted automatically |
| Purchase history, if you bought something | RevenueCat | A random anonymous RevenueCat ID | As long as needed to restore purchases, handle refunds and meet our tax and accounting duties |
None of it includes your name, your email address or your Apple ID.
Asking us to delete it
Email [email protected] with "Privacy Rights Request" in the subject, say that it is about Cupshot, and include the app-instance ID or RevenueCat ID if you have it. We will ask Google or RevenueCat to delete the data filed under it and tell you when it is done.
Cupshot holds no name or email address, so a message on its own cannot be matched to an install. If we cannot find anything, we will tell you so.
Purchases
Deleting the game or your data does not refund a purchase. Purchases belong to your Apple Account, and refunds are Apple's to give: https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
