Cadrillo Voice for Android — Account and Data Deletion
Last updated: October 24, 2026 · Applies to Cadrillo Voice on Google Play (co.getcreative.voicetype)
This page explains how to delete your Cadrillo account and the data Cadrillo Voice keeps, what is deleted, and what is kept and for how long.
Deleting your account
- Cancel your membership first, if you have one. Deleting your account does not cancel it. In Google Play: tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cadrillo Voice → Cancel subscription.
- Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, with "Delete my Cadrillo account" in the subject. If you cannot send from that address, tell us which address it is and we will confirm it with you there.
- We confirm it is you, delete the account and the data listed below within 30 days, and tell you when it is done.
Your Cadrillo account is the same one you use in Cadrillo's other apps, so this deletes your personal Cadrillo workspace and everything in it, too.
What is deleted
- Your Cadrillo account: your name and email address, and your sign-in.
- Your dictation history kept in your account: the text of each dictation, when it was made and the app you dictated into.
- Your dictionary, and the words you told the keyboard not to offer.
- Tasks you created with Wesley in your personal workspace.
- Feedback reports and diagnostic records filed under your account.
- Your record at RevenueCat, which runs the membership for us.
What is kept, and for how long
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Messages you send us, including your deletion request | To show what you asked and what we did | Up to 3 years after our last contact, as Cadrillo's privacy policy sets |
| Security and error logs | To keep the service safe and working | Up to 13 months |
| Encrypted backups | To recover from a failure. Nobody uses them, and anything deleted is deleted again if a backup is ever restored | As Cadrillo's privacy policy describes |
| Analytics events and crash reports | Held by Google, under a random app ID and not your account | Analytics up to 14 months, crash reports up to 90 days, then deleted by Google |
| Your membership purchase | Held by Google Play under your Google account | Under Google's own terms |
Deleting some of your data
You do not have to delete your account to remove some data:
- Dictations on your phone: delete them in History. This removes the phone copy only.
- Dictations in your account: email us and we will delete them and leave the account open.
- Stop keeping a history: turn off Settings → Keep a history.
- Words you added: remove them in Dictionary. This removes them from your account too.
- Words the keyboard learned from your typing: Settings → Forget everything learned. These are kept only on your phone.
- Everything on your phone: sign out, then remove the app.
Work accounts
If you sign in with a work account, your company decides what happens to the data in its workspace. Write to us and we will pass your request to your company and help it answer.
Purchases
Deleting your account or your data does not refund a membership. Refunds are covered in the Terms of Use.
