Cadrillo Voice for Android — Support
Cadrillo Voice is a keyboard for Android that takes dictation in any app. Type as usual, or tap the mic key and talk, and your words go in at the cursor. It is part of Cadrillo.
Write to us
A person reads every message, and we normally reply within a few working days. If you can, tell us:
- What happened, and what you expected to happen instead.
- Your phone's model and its Android version.
- The app's version, shown at the bottom of Cadrillo Voice's Settings.
You can also tap Feedback on the keyboard to tell us about a word it got wrong, or right.
Common questions
How do I turn the keyboard on? Open Cadrillo Voice and follow the four setup steps: turn it on in Android's keyboard settings, switch to it, allow the microphone, and sign in to Cadrillo.
Do I need an account? Not for typing. Dictation through Cadrillo needs a Cadrillo account: tap Sign in with Google, or Company if your workplace put you on Cadrillo.
What does it cost? Typing, autocorrect and your phone's own speech are free. Cadrillo dictation and Wesley in the keyboard are free for your first week, then need a Cadrillo membership, US$9.99 a month in the United States, billed by Google Play. A company account includes them. The Terms of Use have the details.
My free week ended. What still works? Typing, suggestions, autocorrect, and dictation with your phone's own speech (Settings → Dictate without a connection, then Speech to text → This phone or Auto).
How do I cancel? In Google Play: tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cadrillo Voice → Cancel subscription. Removing the app does not cancel it.
I bought a membership but dictation still says to join. Open the membership screen and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Cadrillo account. If that does not fix it, write to us with the date of the purchase.
I want a refund. Within 48 hours of a charge, ask Google: at play.google.com, open Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history and choose Report a problem. After that, write to us. The Terms of Use have the rules.
Can I dictate with no signal? Yes, if you download speech to your phone in Settings. Otherwise the recording is kept on your phone, and you can turn it into text from History once you are back online.
Does it keep what I say? See the Privacy Policy. In short: with a personal account, the audio is turned into text and not kept, and with This phone chosen, it never leaves your phone.
