Cadrillo Voice for Android — Terms of Use

The short version. The keyboard, autocorrect and your phone's own speech are free. Dictation through Cadrillo and Wesley in the keyboard are free for 7 days with a personal Cadrillo account, with no card. After that they need a Cadrillo membership: US$9.99 a month in the United States, billed by Google Play, renewing each month until you cancel in Google Play. When the free week ends and you have not joined, nothing is charged. Typing keeps working.
Who we are and what these terms cover
Cadrillo Voice is part of Cadrillo, operated by Intentionally Creative LLC, a New York limited liability company doing business as Cadrillo, a Get Creative company ("Cadrillo", "we", "us"), at 4465 E Genesee St., Syracuse, New York 13214, United States.
These terms add to Cadrillo's Terms of Service, which apply to your Cadrillo account. Where the two differ about this app or the membership sold in it, these terms apply. In particular, the membership is sold and billed as set out here, by Google Play, during Cadrillo's beta as well.
Your purchase is also covered by Google Play's terms. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms. If you sign in with a work account, your company's agreement with Cadrillo also applies.
What is free, and what needs a membership

A company account includes Cadrillo dictation through the company. It has nothing to buy here, and none of the rules below about the free week or the membership apply to it.
The free week
- Length. 7 days, starting on the day your Cadrillo account was made, and not on the day you install the keyboard. For an account made before October 26, 2026, the week starts on October 26, 2026.
- No card. You do not give a payment method to start it, and nothing is charged when it ends.
- One per account. The week belongs to your Cadrillo account. Signing out, removing the app or installing it again does not start a new one.
- The membership screen in the app shows how many days are left.
When the free week ends
If you have not joined:
- dictation through Cadrillo's speech servers stops, and so does Wesley in the keyboard;
- typing, suggestions and autocorrect keep working, as before;
- your phone's own speech keeps working. With Auto chosen and the speech files downloaded, the mic key uses your phone's speech instead;
- a recording the keyboard could not turn into text is kept on your phone, under History → Not transcribed yet, where you can transcribe it after you join, or delete it;
- the keyboard offers Join, which opens the membership screen.
Your history, dictionary and account are not changed.
The membership
- Price. US$9.99 a month in the United States. In other countries, Google Play shows the price in your currency before you confirm. Google Play also shows any tax it adds.
- Billing. Google Play charges the payment method on your Google account when you join, then once a month on the same date. There is no further free period inside Google Play: joining charges the first month at once, even if your free week has days left.
- Automatic renewal. The membership renews each month until you cancel. If a payment fails and the membership ends, Cadrillo dictation stops.
- What it gives you. Dictation through Cadrillo's speech servers and Wesley in the keyboard, on the Cadrillo account you were signed in to when you joined.
- Price changes. We tell you at least 30 days before a price increase, and Google Play tells you too. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it starts.
- Restoring. On a new phone, sign in to the same Cadrillo account, open the membership screen and tap Restore purchases.
Canceling
Cancel at any time in Google Play: open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cadrillo Voice → Cancel subscription. You can also cancel at https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- The membership keeps working until the end of the month you paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Removing the app does not cancel the membership.
- Deleting your Cadrillo account does not cancel it either. Cancel in Google Play first.
Refunds
Google Play takes the payment, so Google Play's refund policy applies.
- Within 48 hours of a charge, you can ask Google for a refund: at play.google.com, open your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history, choose Report a problem for the order and ask for a refund. Google decides.
- After 48 hours, write to us at [email protected] with the order number from your Google Play receipt. A month already charged is not refunded, except where the law requires it or as the next point says.
- If we remove something you pay for in a way that clearly reduces what you get, we tell you first, and you can cancel and get back the unused part of the month.
Some countries give you more rights than this, such as a partial refund of a canceled subscription. Nothing here limits them.
Using the app
Use the app as Cadrillo's Acceptable Use Policy describes. Speech-to-text can mishear, and Wesley's drafts come from AI that can be wrong, so read the words before you send them. What you dictate and the tasks you create are yours, as Cadrillo's Terms of Service say.

Changes and ending
We may change the app and these terms. We change the date at the top, and for a material change we tell you at least 14 days before it takes effect, in the app or by email. You can stop using the app, cancel the membership and delete your account at any time (Account and Data Deletion).
Disclaimers, liability and disputes
Cadrillo's Terms of Service cover these: the app is provided as is, our liability is limited as those terms say, and New York law and the courts of Onondaga County, New York apply. If you are a consumer, you keep every right the law where you live gives you that a contract cannot take away.
